About This Plant

Lanai 'Green Apple' is a distinctive trailing verbena that sets itself apart with soft chartreuse to yellow-green blooms, an unusual color in the verbena world that works beautifully in mixed containers and hanging baskets. Bred by Syngenta, the Lanai series is known for exceptional heat tolerance, mildew resistance, and non-stop flowering from spring through fall without deadheading.

Plant in full sun for the best performance. Like most verbenas, it is drought tolerant once established but flowers most continuously with regular moisture. Allow the top inch of soil to dry between waterings.

This is a low-maintenance annual that earns its place in containers, hanging baskets, and front-of-border plantings. The blooms are attractive to butterflies, and the color is particularly effective as a complement to bolder summer colors.
