About This Plant

Tulip 'Tulip and Daffodil Mix' is a Triumph tulip with combined spring bulb mix of tulips and daffodils in mid-spring. 16 to 24 in tall on sturdy single stems. Zone 3-8. Full sun, sharp drainage, planted in fall as dry bulbs 6-8 inches deep. Spring bloom period about two to three weeks. Bees visit the open flowers for pollen and minor nectar.

Care Notes

Plant bulbs 6-8 inches deep in fall in full sun with sharp drainage. Most hybrid tulips perform as 1-3 year plants in the PNW due to wet summers; species tulips perennialize more reliably. To deter squirrel digging, cover the planting area with hardware cloth immediately after planting. Narcissus bulbs are toxic if ingested; plant out of reach of pets.
