About This Plant

Stutzman's Sup'r Green is a composted chicken manure fertilizer made by Stutzman Environmental Products in Canby, Oregon. The formula is a ground, 100 percent natural organic mixture of composted chicken manure and sawdust, processed into a dry, uniform material that will not burn plants. The guaranteed nutrient analysis is 3-2-2, which delivers over five times the plant food value of steer manure pound for pound. All Stutzman organic products comply with the USDA National Organic Program requirements. The company has been producing natural poultry-based fertilizers in the Pacific Northwest for more than 40 years.

Apply Sup'r Green in spring before planting or as a side-dress through the growing season. Spread a thin layer over your beds, scratch it into the top inch or two of soil, and water thoroughly. Because it is dry and fully composted, there is no burn risk when applied at reasonable rates. It works well under vegetables, berries, annuals, and perennials, and provides longer-lasting nutrient release than synthetic quick-feeds. For established trees and shrubs, broadcast around the drip line and water in well.

Stutzman is an Oregon company, and their Sup'r Green has been a trusted fertilizer at Pacific Northwest nurseries for decades. The chicken manure base gives it a nutritional profile that outperforms basic steer manure products, and the composted sawdust blend produces a clean, manageable texture that is easy to work with in any garden setting.
