About This Plant

Salvia officinalis 'Green and Yellow' (Icterina Sage), 'Green and Yellow', is valued in PNW gardens for its character and seasonal interest.

Salvias range from herbaceous perennials to woody shrubs, all hummingbird and pollinator favorites with abundant flower spikes through summer and fall.

Full sun suits this species. Plant in well-drained soil. Hardy USDA Zone 5 to 10. Cut back in late winter. Drought-tolerant once established.
