Care Notes

Plant in well-drained, average to moist soil. Cross-pollination with another Asian pear or compatible European pear improves yield. Allow fruit to ripen fully on the tree. Watch for fire blight (very susceptible); cut out affected wood and sterilize tools. Monitor for pear psylla. Protect young trees from deer.
