Pulmonaria 'Silver Bouquet' (Lungwort)

'Silver Bouquet' lungwort is an exceptional shade perennial, one of the most silver-spotted varieties available, with leaves so heavily marked in metallic silver that they appear almost entirely white from a distance. In early spring, before most shade plants have woken up, it produces clusters of small tubular flowers that open pink and age to violet-blue, adding early-season color right when the garden most needs it.

Pulmonaria is a natural fit for the cool, moist conditions of the Oregon coast. It prefers partial to full shade and consistent moisture, particularly during the summer months. On the coast, with its moderate temperatures and reliable moisture, this plant tends to stay lush and attractive well into fall.
