Care Notes

Plant in well-drained to moist soil; tolerates a wide range. Remove suckers regularly to prevent thicket formation, or allow to spread as a naturalized planting. Watch for tent caterpillars and black knot fungus. All parts except cooked fruit are toxic; handle with care and keep away from livestock.
