About This Plant
Pink Princess Marble is a select mutation of the beloved Pink Princess Philodendron, chosen specifically for its softer, more diffuse variegation pattern. Where the standard Pink Princess shows bold pink splashes, this form offers subtle watercolor-like marbling in blush, rose, and deep green, giving each leaf a painterly quality that feels more refined than dramatic. The variegation is genetically stable and carries through propagation.
Like all Philodendron erubescens types, this one climbs and trails willingly, sending out heart-shaped leaves at a slow to moderate pace. Brighter indirect light encourages more pink expression in the new leaves, though direct sun will bleach and damage foliage. Keep it in consistent warmth (65 to 75 degrees is ideal), and let the top inch of soil dry between waterings to prevent root rot.
This is a collector's plant for anyone drawn to unusual foliage rather than flowers. It mixes beautifully with other variegated tropical houseplants on a plant shelf, and a small moss pole or coir stake will encourage larger leaves as it matures. Note that all philodendrons contain calcium oxalate crystals and are toxic to pets and children if ingested.
