About This Plant

Old-Fashioned Rose Geranium (Pelargonium graveolens) is a scented-leaf geranium with rose-scented foliage: has deeply-lobed gray-green leaves with the classic sweet-rose scent used in cooking and rose-water. 18 to 30 in tall. Tender perennial (Zone 9 to 11), grown as an annual or potted patio plant in the PNW — overwinter indoors in a bright cool spot. Full sun to part shade, low to moderate water. Brush against the leaves to release the fragrance; use in sachets, potpourri, or herbal baking.
