About This Plant
Kimberly Queen Fern is the tidier, more upright alternative to the classic Boston Fern, and once you grow it you'll understand why it has such a loyal following. Instead of the floppy, arching fronds that shed constantly indoors, Kimberly Queen grows in a neat, vase-shaped form with firm, upright fronds that stay crisp and green without the mess. It's also significantly more tolerant of low humidity and indoor conditions.
Outdoors in the mild Langlois climate, Kimberly Queen thrives as a lush porch or patio fern from spring through fall. It loves bright shade or filtered light and consistent moisture, filling large containers with rich, tropical-looking greenery. Bring it inside before temperatures drop into the low 40s.
Whether you're dressing up a shaded entry, building out a tropical container combination, or simply want a handsome fern that won't drop fronds all over your floor, Kimberly Queen is the one.
