Care Notes

Plant in humus-rich, consistently moist, acidic, well-drained soil under canopy. Keep evenly moist the first season. Spreads by rhizome into a low groundcover; give it room to naturalize. Goes summer-dormant in dry conditions under tree canopy and resumes with fall rains.
