About This Plant
Must See is a showstopper of a double Asiatic lily, and the name is not an exaggeration. The blooms are a striking bicolor of orange and cream, but what makes Must See truly remarkable is that no two flowers on the same stem are identical. One blossom may be nearly all white with orange markings, the next nearly all orange with creamy highlights, and together they create a bouquet effect that is genuinely unlike anything else in the summer garden.
Asiatic lilies are among the most reliable and unfussy bulb-grown perennials for Pacific Northwest gardens. They come back year after year, often producing more vigorous stems as the clumps establish and multiply. Must See blooms from June into July on upright stems that typically reach 24 to 36 inches.
Plant the bulbs in fall or early spring in well-drained soil with good sun.
