About This Plant
Bandito Rose lantana packs all the heat-loving, pollinator-friendly charm of full-sized lantana into a naturally compact form that tops out around 14 to 16 inches tall and wide. The flowers are a warm, deep rosy pink with small yellow centers, clustered into the characteristic rounded heads that butterflies, hummingbirds, and bees find irresistible from midsummer through frost. No pinching or shearing required.
What makes the Bandito series stand out is the dense, mounding habit it achieves without the use of plant growth regulators. The foliage is a rich medium green and the flowers are prolific. Lantana is renowned for its drought tolerance.
At Dragonfly Farm, we think of lantana as a container workhorse. Plant Bandito Rose in a sunny pot or mixed border, water it in well, and then largely leave it alone.
