About This Plant
Lagerstroemia indica Crepe Myr Multistem white Crep is a Crape Myrtle, a Eastern Asia (China, Korea) ornamental.
Late-summer flowering tree or large shrub with crepe-paper crinkly flowers in pink/purple/red/white. Smooth cinnamon-mottled bark in winter. PNW NOTE: needs maximum heat to bloom well; coastal cool summers reduce flowering. Plant in hottest, sunniest spot. DO NOT 'crape murder' (heavy pollarding); thin and shape lightly.
Plant in full sun (essential), in average to dry, well-drained soil. Hardy USDA Zone 6 to 9. Long-lived. Generally deer-resistant once established.
