Hoya kerrii 'Variegata' (Sweetheart Hoya)

Hoya kerrii 'Variegata' is the vining version of the famous heart-leaf Hoya, with creamy yellow margins bordering the rich green, heart-shaped leaves. Because the variegated sections of the leaf contain less chlorophyll, this form is somewhat slower growing than the standard species, but the payoff is foliage with considerably more visual complexity. A plant grown from a stem cutting with a node will continue to vine and produce new leaves indefinitely, developing into a substantial trailing or climbing plant over time.

It's worth noting that single-leaf cuttings (sold in heart shapes around Valentine's Day) will stay alive for years but will not grow further without a node.
