Care Notes

Plant in consistently moist to wet, humus-rich soil in a sheltered spot. Tolerates boggy conditions well. In zone 9a, fold dead foliage over the crown in late fall to insulate the growing point from frost. Remove and compost old foliage in spring before new growth emerges. Water abundantly during the growing season.
