About This Plant

G&B Organics Potting Soil is a ready-to-use, OMRI Listed blend formulated for containers, raised beds, and indoor pots of all kinds. The mix combines recycled forest products, bark fines, perlite, peat moss, rice hulls, worm castings, bat guano, kelp meal, alfalfa meal, hydrolyzed feather meal, composted chicken manure, and oyster shell and dolomite limes as pH adjusters. Every ingredient is verified compliant for organic use, and the product is registered with the California Department of Food and Agriculture as an organic input material. The working pH range of 5.8 to 7.5 suits the majority of container plants, from vegetables and herbs to flowering annuals and perennials.

Use it straight from the bag to repot houseplants, fill outdoor containers, or build out raised beds. One cubic foot will comfortably repot three to four one-gallon plants or one to two five-gallon plants. No additional mixing or amendments are needed to get started.

We carry G&B Organics because it performs consistently in the cool, moisture-heavy conditions of the Oregon coast, and because the organic ingredient list supports the kind of living soil that plants actually thrive in over time.
