About This Plant
G&B Organics Harvest Supreme is an OMRI Listed soil amendment designed to be mixed into native soil before planting vegetables and flowers. The formula includes recycled forest products, composted chicken manure at 15% by volume, bark fines, rice hulls, oyster shell lime for pH adjustment, worm castings, bat guano, kelp meal, and mycorrhizal inoculants. The chicken manure provides a steady, season-long nitrogen source, while the mycorrhizae help plant roots access water and nutrients more efficiently. The rice hulls contribute long-term drainage structure that resists compaction over time.
Mix Harvest Supreme into the top 6 to 8 inches of existing garden soil before planting. One 2 cubic foot bag is enough to amend roughly 20 square feet of bed or handle the backfill for 4 to 5 gallon-sized transplants. It is not a standalone growing medium, but when blended into native soil it significantly improves structure, drainage, and fertility. Use it for vegetable gardens, annual and perennial beds, and any planting where you want to build up in-ground soil quality over time.
The OMRI certification and CDFA registration confirm that all ingredients meet independent organic use standards. This is a practical, versatile amendment to keep on hand throughout the planting season for bed preparation and new transplants.
