Eucalyptus pulverulenta 'Baby Blue' (Silver Leaf Gum), 'Baby Blue' is valued in the landscape for character, form, and seasonal interest.
Silver-leaved Mountain Gum , striking round silver foliage on whorled stems; popular in cut-flower work. 'Baby Blue' is the compact cut-foliage cultivar.
Full sun suits this species. Plant in well-drained soil. Hardy USDA Zone 8 to 11. Coppice every few years for best young foliage. Avoid heavy wet soils.
For a Pacific Northwest native tree of similar character, consider Acer macrophyllum (Bigleaf Maple) for canopy, Cornus nuttallii (Pacific Dogwood) for spring bloom, or Arbutus menziesii (Pacific Madrone) for evergreen sculpture and red bark.
