Espoma African Violet Mix

Espoma Organic African Violet Mix is a natural potting medium from Espoma Organic, designed for African violets and other indoor flowering houseplants. The formula is built primarily from processed forest products, which make up 60 to 70 percent of the blend, combined with sphagnum peat moss, perlite, humus, limestone for pH adjustment, and yucca extract as a natural wetting agent. Repot African violets annually, ideally in spring. Choose a container with drainage holes and add a small amount of mix to the bottom. After planting, water from below: place the pot in a shallow tray of water and let it soak for 20 minutes, then remove and let it drain.
