Brugmansia 'Charles Grimaldi' (Angel's Trumpet), 'Charles Grimaldi' is valued in the landscape for character, form, and seasonal interest.
Angel's Trumpet , South American small tree / large shrub with enormous fragrant pendulous trumpet flowers in white, peach, yellow, or pink. Spectacular summer-patio container plant in the PNW.
Full sun to part shade suits this species. Plant in moist, well-drained, fertile soil. Hardy USDA Zone 9 to 11. ALL PARTS HIGHLY TOXIC, site away from children and pets, wear gloves when handling. Frost-tender; bring under cover or treat as a summer-only patio plant in southern Oregon.
For a Pacific Northwest native tree of similar character, consider Acer macrophyllum (Bigleaf Maple) for canopy, Cornus nuttallii (Pacific Dogwood) for spring bloom, or Arbutus menziesii (Pacific Madrone) for evergreen sculpture and red bark.
