Black Gold Natural and Organic Potting Mix is an OMRI Listed container and raised bed mix formulated without synthetic fertilizers or chemicals. The blend starts with Canadian sphagnum peat moss and builds in compost, processed bark, horticultural-grade perlite or pumice, earthworm castings, and an organic fertilizer for a starter nutrient boost. It also includes RESiLIENCE, Sun Gro's silicon-enriched additive that strengthens plant cell walls, increases stem diameter, encourages earlier flowering, and significantly improves tolerance for drought stress between waterings. NPK analysis is 0.09-0.03-0.03.

This mix is appropriate for any container or raised bed application where you want a certified organic growing medium. It works well for vegetables, herbs, annuals, perennials, and houseplants. Because it is OMRI Listed, it meets the requirements for certified organic production.
