About This Plant

Campfire Marshmallow is a showstopper that earns its spot in every container and bed on the property. Pure white petals radiate out from a golden-yellow center disk, creating a clean, cheerful contrast that reads beautifully from across a porch or garden path. Plants form dense, mounded mounds 8 to 14 inches tall and up to 20 inches wide, making them a self-contained focal point rather than a filler. The blooms are completely self-cleaning, so you never need to deadhead to keep the show going from late spring through the first hard frost of autumn.

What really sets this variety apart is its iron-clad performance through the cool, misty conditions of the Oregon coast. Campfire Marshmallow shrugs off the humidity and temperature swings that can trip up other summer annuals, blooming reliably from first planting well into fall. Bees and butterflies are frequent visitors, drawn in by the nectar-rich centers. It pairs beautifully with the deep blues and purples of lobelia or verbena.

Use it as the centerpiece of a large patio planter, spill it over the edges of a hanging basket, or mass it at the front of a border for a frothy, continuous wave of white and gold.
