About This Plant

Begonia 'Nonstop Pink' is part of the world-famous Nonstop Series of tuberous begonias, bred specifically for non-stop bloom production from late spring straight through to frost. The huge, fully double flowers reach up to 4 inches across, with layer after layer of warm pink petals packed in a form that genuinely resembles a rose in full bloom. Plants form tidy, bushy mounds that stay compact and neat without staking, making them exceptional for containers, hanging baskets, and shaded border plantings where a long season of bold color is the goal.

Grow 'Nonstop Pink' in partial to full shade for best performance. Tuberous begonias prefer cooler root zones and will struggle in full, hot sun, but the mild, overcast summers of the Oregon coast are nearly ideal conditions. Keep soil evenly moist and well drained. Consistent moisture is critical since tuberous begonias are not drought tolerant despite their lush appearance. The large flowers attract hummingbirds and pollinators, and deer reliably avoid begonias.

Plant tubers or potted starts after all frost danger has passed. Feed every two to three weeks with a balanced fertilizer through the growing season to fuel the continuous bloom habit the name promises. Keep away from pets, all begonia parts are toxic if ingested.
