Care Notes

Plant in well-drained, average to lean soil; established plants resent wet feet. Site once and leave, as the taproot resents transplanting. Mark the crown to avoid accidental digging in spring, as it is slow to emerge. Divide only if absolutely necessary, as division damages the taproot.
