Care Notes

Adaptable to a wide range of well-drained to seasonally wet soils; tolerates acidic to neutral pH. Fruiting is strongest in full sun. Suckering habit will form a thicket over time; remove suckers annually to maintain a single-stemmed form. Prune in late winter, leaving winter fruit in place as long as possible.
