Care Notes

Well-drained, average to moist soil. Plant two cultivars from the same bloom group for cross-pollination. Prune in late winter to early spring. Watch for apple scab, fire blight, codling moth, and apple maggot; choose scab-resistant and fire-blight-resistant cultivars to reduce spray needs in the PNW.
