About This Plant

White anthurium brings a clean, elegant quality to indoor spaces that the more common red and pink forms do not quite match. The spathes are creamy to pure white with a pale yellow or cream spadix, and the combination is quietly sophisticated. Like all flamingo flowers, each bloom is long-lasting, holding its shape and color for several weeks at a time, and the plant flowers repeatedly through the year in good conditions.

Care follows the same pattern as other anthuriums: bright indirect light, consistent warmth, humidity above 50 percent, and a fast-draining mix that prevents waterlogging. A spot a few feet from a bright window, away from heating vents and cold drafts, suits it well. White-spathed anthuriums can yellow if overwatered or grown in too much direct light, so keep conditions steady.

This is a natural choice for white-and-green interior schemes, minimalist spaces, or anywhere you want a bloom that feels architectural without being loud. All anthurium parts are toxic to pets and people if ingested.
