Aloe vera (Aloe Vera), 'Aloe Vera', is valued in PNW gardens for its character and seasonal interest.

A succulent or cactus prized for sculptural form, water-storing leaves or stems, and minimal care.

Bright indirect to direct light suits this plant. Plant in well-drained, sandy soil. Hardy USDA Zone 9 to 11 (mostly indoor). Allow potting mix to dry completely between waterings. Many tolerate low water and occasional neglect. Most need protection from frost , keep indoors over winter in PNW.
